Modern city life meets an ancient divine wasteland. Ancient gods sleep beneath the city, and upon awakening, they enslave humanity. The protagonist awakens the bloodline of an ancient god-devouring race, able to consume the gods' essence and unlock ancient divine techniques. He plays the pig to eat the tiger, defies the odds, and slays gods. False-god families oppress the people, descendants of gods hunt him down, and factions vie for the secrets of the ancient divine wasteland. In the end, he slays the sleeping chief god.
