I’m the universally acknowledged senior brother of my sect, with unfathomable cultivation and a foundation that outclasses my peers across the heavens. I seem cool and taciturn, calm and easygoing, but in truth, I’m bound to a bizarre System.
Whenever my junior brothers and sisters or other sect disciples run into a cultivation tribulation, hit a bottleneck, or find their techniques at a standstill, they come to me for help at once.
My junior sister’s sword domain has stopped advancing. With a worried frown, she asks, “Senior Brother, my sword domain just won’t break through. How should I overcome this?”
I remain composed and unhurried, answering mildly, “Don’t rush. Sit down first and listen to me sing a song.”
When the song ends, the invisible power of the Great Dao quietly settles upon her, instantly pushing her sword domain straight to perfection.
My second junior brother has reached a dead end in body cultivation and can’t break free of the limits of his spiritual roots. My third junior sister can barely make progress in her understanding of the laws. Disciples from all corners of the sect are stuck on tribulations, enlightenment, or mastering divine abilities...
No matter how impossible the bottleneck or how defiant of heaven the cultivation challenge, others can exhaust themselves cultivating for ten thousand years and still fail to reach the threshold.
But I never explain cultivation methods, discuss the Dao, or teach secret arts.
I play the zither, sing, tell stories, chat, slack off over tea, or laze around daydreaming. Thanks to the bizarre abilities of my eccentric System, a casual bit of this and that is enough to solve any problem at the push of a button.
Cultivation level doesn’t matter, and reason doesn’t enter into it. The whole idea is to slack off and cure every ailment, casually overcoming every challenge.
Every cultivation bottleneck in the entire sect can do nothing but wait for me, their eccentric senior brother, to toss them a halfhearted fix and send them straight to perfection.
