Taoist Seals

Beneath Withered Bone Cliff, a young man with no talent and no renowned master by his side unexpectedly obtains half of an ancient jade pendant covered in talismanic inscriptions.

That night, a torrential storm swept through, and someone had sabotaged the mountain road that had never once collapsed.

He barely escaped with his life after being thrown against the cliff face, and came away with this token of an unknown inheritance.

The eccentric old man at the Taoist temple only spoke half a sentence.

The mysterious figure by the cliff leapt down, then vanished without a trace.

The forbidden grounds at the foot of the mountain had been sealed for decades, hiding the bones of a thousand people.

What he didn't know was this:

The storm had been sent for him, and the jade pendant had been sought for the inheritance it carried.

Only when the talismanic inscriptions awakened inside him did he discover the truth:

This wasn't an opportunity. It was a plot long in the making.

And he was the chosen piece on the board.
