Global Class Change: I Awakened Hextech Arena

On Awakening Day, Lin Yue awakened as the least promising class: a lance warrior.

At the same time, his Hextech Mayhem System came online.

[Heartsteel], Damage hostile targets to permanently increase your health. Each monster can only trigger it once every ten minutes? No problem. Just kill ten thousand monsters. His health climbs from 140 to 1,400, then 14,000, then 140,000… with no limit.

[Unending Despair], Continuously damages nearby enemies in combat, with damage scaling according to your health. The longer your health bar, the more it burns.

[Tank Engine], Killing enemies builds stacks. The more stacks you have, the bigger you grow and the wider your attack range. You lose stacks if you go more than 60 seconds without fighting? Then the fighting will never stop.

This isn’t a story about an “underdog making a comeback.” It’s a story about “overwhelming everyone with raw stats.”

Other people build their health with equipment; he stacks Heartsteel. While everyone else is calculating how to survive three hits from a boss, he’s wondering how to make the boss last three minutes.

Above the Abyss Rift, red light leads the way. Wherever his lance points, steel grows without end.
