Sweeping the Cold Palace? Sorry, I’m the Supreme Deity!

Chu He was once a supreme deity who slept for ten thousand years in ancient times. After waking, he discovers that he has become a lowly guard in the Cold Palace of the Great Xia Dynasty.

To get some peace and catch up on sleep, he binds himself to a “Couldn’t-Care-Less System” and just wants to be a lazy fish, living off others until he dies.

But the discarded consorts in the Cold Palace just won’t let him rest.

When the beautiful Consort Xiao, banished to the Cold Palace, suffers an attack of cold poison, Chu He finds her shivering annoying and casually lends her a wisp of pure yang divine power.

Consort Xiao exclaims in shock: “Are you the legendary Immortal of the Martial Way?!”

The aloof princess of a fallen kingdom spends her days plotting revenge, so Chu He casually tosses her a tattered book he’d been using to prop up a table leg.

The princess tears up: “The Nine Heavens Profound Maiden Art? Senior, I will serve you for all eternity to repay your kindness!”

Many years later.

A vassal prince rebels, the demon race invades, and an Immortal Cultivation Holy Lord descends from on high with an army of a hundred thousand to raze the imperial capital.

Just as the court officials sink into despair, countless powerful figures arrive at the gates of the Cold Palace.

Disturbed from his afternoon nap, Chu He reluctantly opens the courtyard gate and casually points a finger.

In an instant, heaven and earth collapse, and countless immortals perish!

Chu He sighs: “I told you, I just want a good night’s sleep. And besides, did you get permission from me, the god, before touching the people under my protection?”
