Superstition? Then How Can My Grandpa Fly and Burrow Through the Earth?

Prologue: The Question

The train raced onward, three copper coins in my hand bearing the weight and patina of history.

"Is this world real?"

"Or do gods and demons really exist?"

"But everyone says that's feudal superstition."

I ran my fingers over the nick in the edge of a coin and looked at the brand on my palm, a burn mark left there when I was six.

My name is Xiao He. I'm twenty years old, and once the new year comes, I'll be attending Daxia University of Science and Technology.

I'm just an ordinary prospective college student. But I seem to believe that completely.

The scenery outside the train window rushed past. Xiao He suddenly remembered the blue candlelight reflected in his grandmother's cloudy eyes... and the moment his playmate, who should have been dead, opened their eyes in the formation of copper coins.
