Miss Wen, Our Agreement Has Expired

Ordinary college student Lin Xuan signs a dating contract with Wen Qingci, the campus belle.

For 50,000 yuan a month, over the course of a year, with a final payment of one million yuan when the contract ends.

The contract stipulates that Lin Xuan must play her boyfriend in name. He has to accompany her to banquets, fend off her annoying pursuers, and act like the perfect loving couple on social media.

They each get what they want, and once the money changes hands, they part ways. It seems like a perfect deal.

But on the very day the contract expires, when Lin Xuan brings it to Wen Qingci to settle things as agreed, she shrinks back, her eyes darting away.

“This contract… was printed by a machine. The terms are too stiff, and there’s no sincerity. It doesn’t count.”

Lin Xuan frowns and reminds her that the contract has expired. She immediately changes her tune. “Anyway, we can’t end it yet. My family isn’t tired of you, and my pursuers haven’t given up completely. Renew it for a while longer.”

Lin Xuan insists on collecting the final payment and leaving. Wen Qingci’s ears turn red, but she stubbornly replies, “I don’t care. Everyone thinks you’re my boyfriend now. You can dream on if you think you’re leaving me.”
