Wisteria Dreams

Centered on the wisteria, this novel tells the story of the decade-long bond between art scholar Gu Qingyuan and painter Lin Wei, and the warm family they build together with their daughter, Tengteng.

The story begins beneath the wisteria trellis at Jiangnan University in Suzhou, where Gu Qingyuan and Lin Wei first met. A book and an accident brought two souls quietly together beneath the flowers. Ten years later, they reunite in New York. The wisteria bears witness to their love and becomes the tender backdrop to their daughter Tengteng's childhood.
