[Seafaring, Cthulhu, cults, Foundation, progression, slow burn, no mindless power fantasy, ensemble cast (as much as possible)]
Everyone transmigrates into an oceanic apocalypse, and each person gets a chance to start over.
Some cultivate their dantians through innate gifts, then use overwhelming martial strength to dominate their corner of the world.
Some rely on their teams to build invincible fleets and conquer the world with firepower.
Others stumble upon the corpse of a god, cast everything aside, become worms, and devour the gods and gnaw at the world.
Qi Yi, meanwhile, accidentally overlapped with Mansus and embarked on a cultist’s path, using sight and reason to make sense of the world.
The Graylands, Mansus, the Spirit World, the Abyss, and other anomalies endlessly encroach upon a battered reality.
All things slide inexorably toward their final end.
One of the few unlucky souls to be resurrected outside the Origin Sea, Qi Yi bears the mission of uncovering the truth of the world and either becoming a god or bringing a second dawn to all living beings.
But for now, he has only one goal: escape the Sea of Lightless Waters!
(This novel is an experiment inspired by the author’s personal tastes. Its influences include The Mysterious Sea, Terror on the High Seas, Cultist Simulator, The Book of Hours, Disco Elysium, and Terraria.)
(The first 20 chapters focus on survival. Once the immediate threat to life is dealt with, the story begins exploring its cultist plotline. The writing may be a little rough at first.)
(If there’s anything you don’t like, could you please leave a comment instead of leaving right away, so I can make revisions? At least then I’ll know what I need to improve. Thank you.)
You have nothing to do, just give yourself a good review 😏
This book is really good and well written.
😂😅😢😭🤦😢[laugh and cry][almost cry]
I'm currently reading Chapter 19. The protagonist's changes after losing his sanity have weakened the immersion of surviving in the sunless sea😡 Why are you playing abstractly alone when you don't have anyone to pick up on you?
