From the heroine's perspective (not much to say):

From the hero's perspective: Three thousand years ago, the planet Segusen was invaded by an alien army. To ensure the survival of their species, the Tree of Life launched their Source Hearts toward this Blue Star.
Three thousand years later, the Source Hearts gradually awaken, and they too rise from the void.
The only goal of these awakened Segusen people is to find the Source Hearts, possess and protect them, and have children with them to carry on their species.
Cedric Moen is one of them. He takes over the body of a dying man named Xie Zhihuai.
Xie Zhihuai has a fiancée, but he doesn't love her.
So after taking over his body, Cedric Moen lets the fiancée get away with everything, hoping to have a perfectly good reason to end the engagement.
That was the plan, anyway.
But half a month after taking over, he meets his fiancée, Ji Jin, for the first time.
Then he sees the golden glow in Ji Jin's chest.
Cedric Moen knows he has to change his mind.
The engagement cannot be broken off.
Xie Zhihuai must love Ji Jin.
And remain faithful to her for the rest of his life.
They will share one heart.
