In the True Martial World, Wang Xiyao, a core disciple of the Tianyun Sect, the greatest sect in the Northern Region of the lower-realm world of the Cangyun Continent, is chosen by the Heavenly Dao to become its successor. She is tortured to death three times by her fellow disciple Ouyang Wude and Zhao Yingmei, the adopted daughter of the Zhao family, one of the three great clans of the Central Region. In her fourth life, the Heavenly Dao Protection System activates, and Chen Fan transmigrates into this world. Together, the two match wits and courage against both the righteous and demonic factions, creating miracles along the way. In the end, Chen Fan helps the heroine Wang Xiyao take control of the Heavenly Dao and ascend to the True Martial World to uncover the truth about her origins, inherit the True Martial World's Heavenly Dao, wipe out the demonic cult, and stop an invasion from another world.
