After I Give Up, My Basketball Skills Crush the Competition

While everyone else trains like their lives depend on it, he does everything he can to slack off.

Lin Mo is Jiangcheng University’s undisputed basketball washout: he dribbles the ball off his own feet, can’t hit a shot, and gets blown past on defense. While his teammates train until they’re sick, he sits on the bench eating sushi. When the coach berates him, he replies with a single word: “Okay.”

Then came that exhibition game.

The opposing star leapt for a rim-level dunk. Lin Mo jumped and swatted the ball all the way into the stands.

The whole arena fell silent.

The livestream comments changed from “Get off the court, king of slacking!” to “He’s been hiding his true power!”

No one knows there’s a strange System hidden inside him. He doesn’t need to train or complete quests. As long as he eats truly top-tier food, his body automatically learns new instincts. Otoro lets him anticipate passing lanes, tomahawk steak makes his box-outs as solid as rock, and Edomae sushi makes his first step on a drive as quick as a reflex.

What others earn with sweat, he gets from a meal.

Lu Chen, the provincial MVP, starts keeping tabs on him. Campus beauty Shen Xingyao personally seeks out sponsors to get him to play. Journalism department beauty Su Qingyue points her phone camera at the boy whose only concern is “What should I eat next?”

But Lin Mo cares about just one thing:

“How many meals can I get out of the prize money for this game?”
