The Ninety-Ninth Forgotten Goodnight

Behind a catastrophic loss of memory lies a bittersweet love story: a woman waits through 1,358 goodnights for her memories to return, while a man says goodbye in silence with the 1,359th.

A reader asked: Is this a tragedy?

I don't think it's a tragedy in the traditional sense. A tragedy shows you something beautiful being shattered. This story shows how the broken pieces can be put back together and made to shine again.
