In the eyes of outsiders, Luo Yu and Chi Wan are exceptionally compatible close friends.
When they were young, Chi Wan was entrusted by Luo Yu’s mother to keep the quiet, reserved boy who loved to draw company. Gentle and perceptive, she was considerate toward everyone and always knew just how to tend to his feelings. He seemed stubborn and sensitive, yet trusted her like no one else and was willing to slowly share his thoughts with her. As time passed, they stayed by each other’s side, their understanding of one another growing ever deeper. Their everyday interactions were easy and comforting, and the people around them couldn’t help teasing that they were more attentive and steady with each other than most couples.
Chi Wan had once experienced the tender uncertainties of young love, and gradually grew into someone composed and unruffled. Luo Yu, too, slowly shed his awkward youth, becoming cheerful and dependable. Now and then, he would smile and say that someday he wanted to have a proper romance and experience a different kind of life.
As friends, they accompanied each other through the years, sharing life’s little joys and shouldering each other’s small worries. Warmth and understanding endured throughout. Their days were peaceful, their companionship lasting, and everything between them was filled with comfort and warmth.
Why should my own book be given five stars? I'm sure no one will have any objections. If so, just think I farted.
