Yoko Nakajima, the Arsenal's ace pilot, has an unbreakable rule: if you want to date her, beat her at arm wrestling first.
The Arsenal's undisputed arm-wrestling champion, she pilots the Special Airborne Armor Units into battle against monsters and can crush every male team member with one hand. As for her junior, Haruki Natsukawa, the young hothead who shouts “Oss!” all day and can't beat her in training, Yoko has never given him a second thought. She's always been attracted to mature, dependable older men. He could never be the one for her.
Then a sudden “Cosmic Love Bond System” shatters the peace.
The System forcibly binds her to a partner, and that partner turns out to be Haruki Natsukawa.
Yoko clenches her fist, her knuckles cracking. Haruki's face turns red, and all he can manage is a thoroughly unconvincing “Oss!”
The System assigns mandatory daily missions: arm-wrestling matches, swapping packed lunches, and completing joint operations that demand perfect coordination. An invisible bond ties them tightly together.
As they spend more time together, Yoko is forced to reconsider her junior. His chest is far sturdier than she ever imagined, and his eyes hold a determination and radiance far beyond what he usually shows.
But Haruki is hiding an even bigger secret: inside him resides Zeta Ultraman, a five-thousand-year-old Warrior of Light. Faced with the baffling love System, Zeta is utterly lost, staring in confusion. “A love System? What the heck is that?”
By the time Yoko discovers that Haruki is Zeta Ultraman, winning or losing at arm wrestling no longer matters. A massive crisis is brewing behind the System. The boy who “ran away from his wedding” to journey through the universe is waiting beneath the stars for her answer.
This time, they won't have to face everything alone.
