Story summary
Chen Mo, an underground maintenance worker in New Chang'an City, was accidentally infected with "void bacteria" and was forced to undergo transformation, becoming E-01, a half-human, half-animal experimental subject with fly genes. During the years of escaping and fighting, he rescued the wandering child A Ye, and the two depended on each other in the ruins. In order to completely end the virus crisis, Chen Mo chose to sacrifice his body, upload his consciousness to the cloud, and become a digital ghost guarding the city.
