Reborn in Another World, My Beast Companion Is a Dog

[Western Fantasy] [Not Your Typical Power Fantasy] [Not Overpowered]

Hoping to achieve something great in a big city, Verus leaves the mountains and enrolls in a prestigious academy renowned for beast taming. At the freshman beast-taming tournament, he summons a Chinese rural dog and is mocked by all the other new students.

"What the heck, hahaha! He summoned a dog!"

"He must have cheated to get the top score in theory."

"This is so embarrassing."

Amid the laughter, the dog stands up, finds a pair of glasses and puts them on, then addresses everyone:

"I don't think you're right."

The whole place falls silent.
