The Chronicles of Shigen's Cultivation

Before he dies, Shigen, a boy from the mountains, gives his apprentice a black pottery jar and a peachwood sword, then tells him to go down the mountain and find the Green Bamboo Sect.

But as soon as Shigen reaches the foot of the mountain, he encounters a haunting in a village. The villagers all laugh at him, calling him a useless little Taoist priest.

Shigen slays the ghost with one strike of his sword, leaving everyone stunned!

It turns out that the Three Pure Ones’ Evil-Quelling Art he cultivates is the bane of every evil spirit in the world!

The Green Bamboo Sect is torn apart by infighting, and traitors join forces with an evil overlord to massacre the sect.

With his black pottery jar and the naturally pure-yang Little Chubby by his side, Shigen storms the source of evil, breaks through the Ten Thousand Fiends Formation, and slays the evil overlord with one strike!

From then on, no evil spirits dare wreak havoc in the world. There is only one young Daoist priest, carrying a peachwood sword.
