Luo Tian was an outer-sect disciple of Qingyun Sect in the Eastern Region of the Mortal Realm. With mediocre talent and a mysterious Chaos Pearl within him that had yet to awaken, he was bullied by inner-sect disciples. After accidentally falling off a cliff and obtaining an ancient inheritance, he began to rise to power. Early on, he must face the outer-sect trials, inner-sect rivalries, and the sect tournament, while uncovering the conspiracy of the sect elders. He later leaves the sect to explore the Eastern Region, making allies and enemies, gradually uncovering the secrets of the Chaos Pearl, and becoming embroiled in the conflict between the Mortal Realm and the Demon Realm.
