The background of the story is set at the end of the Warring States Period. Qin Lie (the protagonist), a modern special forces soldier and historical military scientist, travels to the Qin Dynasty to assist Qin Shihuang Yingzheng in starting the road of conquest. By integrating ancient Chinese formations and fantasy martial arts, and introducing advanced technological concepts, the heroes of the Qin Dynasty were promoted to complete the grand epic of unifying the six kingdoms, conquering the world, and finally realizing "the world is unified".
