After reading ninety chapters, only one-third is devoted to describing the protagonist. You are writing a single-protagonist story, not a group portrait story! Moreover, the puzzle is thrown in the reader's face at the beginning instead of unfolding it slowly. The front part just looks too confusing and not particularly attractive.
The sense of immersion is not enough. It's a bit foggy when I watch it. It's a good practice. Just imitating the squid is not enough.
