In the early days of reform and opening up, millions of migrant workers flocked to coastal construction sites. In order to survive, they were squeezed into the wooden houses and endured long nights, so many people formed "temporary couples". They have no status, just to relieve each other's loneliness and physical needs in a foreign land. Today I partner with this worker, and tomorrow I change partners at another construction site. Everyone just wants to make a living, and they understand each other tacitly. They just treat it as a temporary wrap in the cold winter. When the project is completed, they will disperse without leaving any trace. Those short-lived warmth that grew among the steel and concrete bear witness to the bitterness and desolation of a generation's hard work.
Very nice to watch this part
