The King’s Attendant

[Two male leads + 1v1 + true love + younger man + HE]

[Medieval setting]

[A seemingly aloof but secretly clingy king x a straight male attendant forced to take the initiative and seduce him]

Six years ago, in the forests of the North, a boy named Ander met someone who smiled at him.

Six years later, Ander became the new king of the Aether Dynasty and personally chose Noah to be his attendant.

But Noah didn’t recognize him. He had been sent to the palace by Prime Minister Gray as a pawn. His mission wasn’t to serve the king, but to seduce him.

Noah had no choice.

His sister had been married off far away and mistreated, while the prime minister held his family in his grip. Noah could only draw closer to the king, step by step, testing him, touching him, and trying to please him.

But Ander was far more receptive than Noah had expected. He even seemed to enjoy it.

He would ask for hugs, hand-holding, and cuddles, like a child who had finally gotten the treat he’d been waiting for.

Noah gradually lost track of which things were part of the mission and which came from the heart.

What he didn’t know was that Ander had known everything from the very beginning.

He didn’t mind.

The fact that the person he loved was going to such lengths to seduce him was more than enough to make him happy.

Until one winter night, Ander said, “I know everything. But my feelings are real.”

Noah heard him, and guilt and emotion surged through his heart.

For the first time, he disobeyed the prime minister and kept the spies watching Ander a secret.

Later, Ander took him into the northern forest.

“I’ve waited for you for six years.”

Noah finally remembered everything. But the prime minister still held his family’s fate in his hands.

At the Christmas banquet, the prime minister planned to publicly expose Ander as gay and use it to control him completely.

Noah stood at the edge of a cliff.

On one side was his family’s survival; on the other, the fate of the man he loved.

He had to make a choice.
