A Different History: The New Southern Ming

The fall of the Ming dynasty is probably a source of regret for many people, and I feel the same way. So what would have happened to world history if the Chongzhen Emperor had not kept his eldest son, Zhu Cilang, in Beijing, but instead sent him south to Nanjing? This is my first time writing a book, so please point out anything that seems off. I’ll do my best not to disappoint my readers. This is a large-scale alternate-history novel told from a broad perspective, with a little bit of personal perspective mixed in. In other words, there is no fixed protagonist. If I had to name one, it would be the Southern Ming emperor, and the Southern Ming state itself. Later on, I’ll also write a little about Greece, the second protagonist, and the founding of a Little Byzantium. Roman Empire fans, rejoice.
