This is a world where humans and monsters coexist. Clad in armor and wielding sharp blades, hunters walk the line between life and death, striving to protect the peace of their villages or pursue the highest glory. As a rookie hunter just starting out, Dongfang Chen begins his journey with the frail form of a Great Jagras. He faces the deafening roar of a Tigrex, searches for a sliver of hope beneath the explosive blows of a Brachydios, and hones his Foresight Slash and Spirit Blade against the overwhelming storm of bladescales unleashed by a Seregios. Every hunt is the ultimate test of skill; every evolution is another solid step toward the summit. When the Remobra Long Sword finally shines with a light that transcends its era, and Dongfang Chen’s name stands alongside those of legendary heroes, he will face the truth of the world: the Elder Dragons that loom over heaven and earth, and the deeper terror hidden beneath the dust of history.
This is not merely the evolution of a blade, but an epic tale of a hunter who, in mortal form, raises his sword against the gods.
(PS: A new book, starting from scratch with Rise, and I’ve just received a quest to hunt a level 300 monster. For now, it only features monsters from Rise. I’ll add monsters from 3P, 3G, World, and other games later.)
