Dream of the Red Chamber: Daiyu Has Someone to Rely On

A modern soul transmigrates into Jia Min, who dies young in Dream of the Red Chamber. The moment she opens her eyes, she finds herself confined to a sickbed, with the young, frail, sensitive Lin Daiyu at her side.

In this life, she resolves to defy fate and change their destinies: first, she will nurse herself back to health and protect Lin Ruhai, then raise Daiyu to be healthy and clear-minded, keeping her well away from the trouble-ridden Jia household.

With the Lin family's influence and her own clear head, she plans carefully at every turn. She avoids household scheming, rivalry between women, and currying favor, focusing only on a peaceful life with her family. When her daughter grows up, she will find her a kind and gentle husband and give her a life of comfort and security. The couple will stand together, have more children, and pass down their family's scholarly traditions.

The Jia family rises to its height and then falls, its splendor fading away. Only the Lin family avoids the storm, living in peace and fulfilling the happy ending that Dream of the Red Chamber always seemed to deny its readers.
