Lin Mo transmigrates into the body of an exiled noble from a fallen kingdom. At the brink of despair, he awakens an ancestral heirloom, the [Spark of Civilization], which lets him disguise a real otherworld as a game and summon players from Earth.
And so, the whole vibe changes:
When the enemy's iron cavalry reaches the city walls, they find a horde of immortal “calamities” building illegal structures out of vines and stones, cobbling together an “otherworldly Gatling gun” from beast bones and sticks, and eagerly debating whether “this elite mob drops orange gear.”
When a legendary mage chants an ultimate spell, the players counter with a saturation barrage of “magic missiles” (fireworks) and “physical silence” (bricks). A forum post is titled: “Twelve Theories on Using Engineering to Counter Ultimate Spells.”
When the whispers of an evil god echo across the continent, they charge into the abyss in homemade “magitech Gundams,” shouting, “For the gear! For the contribution points!” They carefully document the boss mechanics and write ten-thousand-word guides to tackling the raid.
Lin Mo quietly stays behind the scenes, using contribution points to buy back the “junk” players get from killing monsters, while using the embers of civilization to release “updates” and “expansions” for them.
Until one day, the players arrive in starships, carrying planet-busting cannons, and ask him, “My lord, who are we fighting in the next dungeon?”
