Ouyang Qianxun was born in a fishing village in Ningbo. At fifteen, she set off alone for Shenzhen and Hong Kong, then raised a child by herself, traveling between the United States and South Korea before finally returning to the capital. Because of Yifan, she went to prison, then retreated from the world to become a nun.
