Imperial Exams: The Road to Sixfold Honors

An ordinary modern man transmigrates into the body of eight-year-old Li Mingli, a poor farmer’s son in the Great Jing dynasty. With a golden finger that lets him remember everything he sees and draw inferences from what he learns, he begins as a child who can barely get enough to eat and overcomes one imperial examination challenge after another, accomplishing the unprecedented feat of taking first place in all six stages. Once he enters the court, he stays true to himself and keeps the people in his heart, rooting out corrupt policies and purging the court of graft. He ultimately rises to the highest office and ushers in a peaceful and prosperous age for Great Jing. This is a story of hard work, social ascent, and the fulfillment of a life’s ambitions.
