[Double Male Leads + Younger Man + Reborn + Secret Identities]
When Gu Qiyu was young, a war took his parents from him. Chu Lin, who was alone himself, took him in, and from then on, Gu Qiyu relied on the big brother who was three years older than him.
When little Gu Qiyu saw people weeping over their shattered families, he vowed that when he grew up, he would become strong enough to protect everyone in the world, as well as the big brother who had always protected him.
But his big brother betrayed them.
When his former comrades escorted him into enemy territory, Chu Lin appeared. He gently caressed Gu Qiyu’s pale face, his eyes filled with boundless tenderness.
“Do you see, child? These are the people you wanted to protect.”
“Humans are selfish, foolish, greedy, and arrogant.”
“They always pay the price for thinking they know best.”
