In the late autumn of 1937, the smoke of the Japanese Army's "Eighth Route Siege" enveloped Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei. In Yelangpo, a dangerous place at the junction of Yu County and Pingshan, a bandit team led by Orion Wang Meng fell into a survival crisis of no food and salt due to the Japanese raids.
