When monsters invade, clock out on time! Before five, I'm a lowly programmer. After five, I'm the Giant of Light who sweeps across the sea of stars!
Programmer Lin Ye lives by one ironclad rule: **clock out on time and refuse overtime**.
Workplace mind games, empty promises from management, and endless reports weigh him down. Outside the window, monsters run rampant and the city falls, but all he can do is keep his eyes fixed on the time clock, unable to take a step.
Then one day, he is bound to the Salary King Contract and unlocks the divine power of Galactic Light!
The rules are set: clock out at exactly five every day, and he immediately transforms into a Giant of Light, invincible at full power for one hour, smashing giant beasts with his fists and illuminating the city!
Others give everything to save the world; he watches the clock while doing it.
Villains plot chaos around the clock; he only throws down after work!
A frosty CEO falls for him, and his childhood sweetheart, the school beauty, depends on him. He swears to protect the gentle everyday life of this crossover metropolis.
He stands up to the 996 grind at work, then crushes cosmic calamities after clocking out!
His secret identity stays under wraps, while romantic entanglements and sweet flirtations never stop.
In this life, clocking out on time is the moment he becomes a legendary savior!
