Doomsday: Obsession Becomes Calamity

Obsession-Based Powers / Mutated Monsters / No Female Lead / Ensemble Bonds / Not a Power Fantasy

A black fog born of obsession engulfs the earth, bringing about the apocalypse.

Those tainted by the fog become the Obsession-bound, forced to battle the darkness growing inside them for the rest of their lives.

If their will falters and their obsession breaks free of its restraints, they descend into mutated beings stripped of their humanity.

When countless frenzied obsessions intertwine and converge, they can even give birth to domains powerful enough to devour all things.

Lin Jin gradually realizes something is wrong. The source of this disaster seems to have something to do with him.

What he never expected was that from the moment the black fog descended, he had already fallen into a fateful game of chess laid out long ago.

No posturing or face-slapping. The protagonist is calm and highly intelligent. No one is an idiot.
