I'm a Nurse on the Interstellar Battlefield

Tong Hua, an ICU nurse who's cold on the outside but soft-hearted within, VS a practical, inarticulate commander with an occasional sense of humor

ICU nurse Tong Hua opens her eyes and finds herself on an interstellar battlefield.

There are no nurses here, only military doctors who rely on high-tech medical pods. When the equipment fails, the wounded can only wait to die.

Tension pneumothorax? One syringe will do. Severe infection? Debridement and negative-pressure drainage. Amputation? Not before you've consulted my forceps and gauze.

The chief military doctor scolds her: "This is prehistoric medicine!"

Tong Hua wipes the blue blood from her hands. "This is the kind of medicine that saves lives."

From being despised to being fought over, from one person to an entire corps of nurses...

When the insectoid horde bears down, everyone cries, "Get Tong Hua! She's the only one who can save them!"
