Later, the Wind Came to Rest in Your Eyes

Lin Wan and Zhou Chen grew up together, went to the same university, and had a romance everyone thought would lead somewhere, only to go their separate ways the year they graduated.

Five years later, they meet again at work and their old feelings rekindle. She thinks fate is finally willing to give them back the youth they lost. But just as everything is about to start over, a woman every bit as accomplished, clear-eyed, and dazzling steps into Zhou Chen’s world.

Eventually, Lin Wan understands that what truly hurts isn’t someone leaving, but someone remembering you and still stepping back when the two of you should be standing side by side.

She walks away, her career rising all the while, and meets someone who truly understands and respects her, and chooses her without hesitation.

But their families have been close for years. Past loves, new romances, and two couples can no longer avoid one another.

Some people learn to grow after losing someone, while others find a new beginning after saying goodbye.

And at last, she understands that love isn’t about turning back. It’s about moving forward.
