After transmigrating, Su Ling arrives in the world of the Pirate King and wakes in Loguetown, where Luo was executed. He awakens a unique ability called “Instant”: starting at one times normal speed, it doubles with every level, reaching 512 times normal speed at level nine. At sixteen, with a cigarette between his lips, he sets out to sea as a bounty hunter, vowing to carve out freedom with his sword. When Luffy says, “You’re strong. Join my crew,” he means to refuse, but the stubbornness in the eyes of the orange-haired girl from Cocoyasi Village leads him to board the Straw Hat Pirates’ ship.
From the East Blue to the Grand Line, from Alabasta’s sandstorms to the thunderclouds of the Sky Islands, he tears through the battlefield at Instant speed, learning to cut iron and steel and reaching the pinnacle of Observation Haki and Armament Haki Hardening as he pushes past his limits time and again between life and death. Facing Mihawk in the Paramount War, he awakens level-eight Instant. When they meet again in the New World, his level-nine Instant strike takes aim at the throne of the world’s greatest swordsman.
A short attention span is his trademark, except when it comes to swordsmanship and Nami. The carefree swordsman who never lets go of his cigarette and the orange-scented navigator share a bond forged in freedom and devotion, through sunrises above the clouds, beside the burning Going Merry, at their separation in Sabaody, and in their reunion two years later. And aboard the Thousand Sunny, sailing toward the edge of the sunset, this adventure of speed, swordsmen, and pirates will never come ashore.
The writing style is quite good. I personally like it very much. The early characters may be different from the original characters themselves, and there is a sense of ambiguity, much like prose. The characters may not be perfectly logical but they fit the rhythm of the article. They are not quite like Pirates fan fiction. I think the author can consider writing some prose. If he wants to write a fan fiction, Character image is a very important point. For example, the pirate caught by the protagonist in the early stage can be written as both an enemy and a teacher, but some image preparation must be done, otherwise it will be a bit strange for an unknown desperado to treat the protagonist like this. Moreover, some parts of the sword training in the early stage do not need to be written so clearly. They can be changed later, and then the author can control the rhythm. Once again, the writing style is really good, which is so rare in foreign persimmons.
