In the next 2250 years, mankind's over-exploitation of the earth's nuclear energy will cause a disaster. The earth's core will begin to collapse and disintegrate. The global geology will collapse, radiation will permeate the earth, and the earth's surface will become a wasteland. Scientists estimate that the earth will eventually explode and be completely destroyed, leaving only one year left for mankind. The protagonist, as a former Starfleet commander, gathers scientific researchers, mechanics, and young geniuses to travel across the doomsday wasteland to find the remaining secret interstellar immigration ships, fight against predators, expose high-level conspiracies, lead survivors to escape from the collapsing Earth, and rush to distant habitable planets outside the system to find the final way out for human civilization in the vast universe.
