The Immortals’ Career Guidance Center

My name is Lin Bei, and I run a headhunting firm that's on the verge of going under.

One night, I received a headhunting request written on a bamboo slip. It was signed by the Heavenly Court's Human Resources Department.

An old man munching on grilled gluten skewers told me the Heavenly Court was broke, the immortals had been laid off, and they needed help finding jobs in the mortal world.

And I was the “chosen one,” because out of every headhunting firm in the city, mine was the only one small enough to be “overlooked.”

So the Great Sage Equal to Heaven became a zookeeper, the God of Wealth went to sell cars at a dealership, Taibai Jinxing started making PowerPoints for an internet company, and Yue Lao began randomly matching people on a dating app...

The immortals had boundless magic, but their resumes were absolute garbage.

The Heavenly Court's first layoff notice brought the greatest chaos the mortal world had ever seen.

The Immortal Reemployment Guidance Center is now officially open.
