The BanG Dream! Saint Grail War

[BanG Dream!] [Girls' Band] [Fate] [Holy Grail War] [Slay the Spire] [MyGO!!!!!] [Ave Mujica] [Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans] [Dungeons & Dragons]

After her band breaks up, Toyokawa Sakiko only wants to work and save money. Instead, a black wild boar suddenly charges out of nowhere and chases her down the street.

At the last possible moment, Misumi Uika, guitarist for the popular idol group sumimi, appears from above in a medieval dress, sword in hand. With one slash, she splits the boar in two, then drops to one knee.

“Saki, be my Master.”

Meanwhile, the washed-up beauty streamer Yuutenji Nyamu draws a magic circle with red paint from a nearby art studio and somehow summons a Servant: a malfunctioning robot with a playing-card club for a head that talks like Siri.

Takamatsu Tomori picks up a stone by the river, and it turns into a giant talking rock.

Shiina Taki, meanwhile, is pestered by a suspicious man who calls himself a priest. In a delighted voice, he says, “I can make you stronger...” and then hands her a gun.

The Holy Grail War is a ritual to obtain the “omnipotent wish-granting machine.”

I can’t say how Holy Grail Wars go in other places, but...

At least, this Holy Grail War in Tokyo... is a battle between a bunch of utterly unhinged girls’ bands.

Some want to reclaim the bands they lost, some want to make wishes they’ve never said out loud, and some just want to eat parfait.

But is the Holy Grail War really nothing but a fight to the death? Who else goes shopping to collect cards for their deck, or livestreams dressing up a robot? And whose Arbiter is a pink-haired high school girl who drinks six cups of sugar cube tea a day...?
