In 1938, independent battalion commander Shi Shenglong found his soul transported to the northern foothills of the Taihang Mountains.
From the start, he is caught in an ambush by elite Japanese troops and trapped in a seemingly hopeless situation. But he keeps his cool under pressure, fights on despite his injuries, and launches a desperate counterattack!
From advancing alone into the den of evil known as the “Wind Nest,” to dismantling the Japanese army’s germ-warfare plot with his bare hands; from outsmarting puppet troops and spies in the busy streets, to crossing a chasm and assassinating the enemy commander.
In an age when bayonets draw blood, he is a deadly blade plunged into the heart of the enemy!
As long as the Japanese invaders have not been driven out of China, the fighting will never stop.
The Iron-Blooded Independent Battalion puts every doubter in their place!
