[I only ship the characters in the show. Don’t take it out on the actors. Everyone has their own taste.]
The nine-tailed fox demon Lu Wuyi takes on the identity of “Yu Wei” and infiltrates the Wei household. There, she meets the Ling Sect mage Ji Ling, the orphaned dragon descendant Wu Shiguang, and the fox clan’s priest Wu Wangyan, all brought together by a heart-extraction case. The four endure fated romances in illusionary realms, uncover secrets about their origins, and face off against the Nine-Infant Monster, rewriting a tragedy ordained by destiny. When fate is no longer a shackle, and love can transcend life and death, this time I’ll grow old by your side. This time, I only want to stay with you, Ji Wu, for this lifetime.
