Ji Sihan never imagined he would meet again, in an alley behind a bar in the slums, the person who had bitten through his wrist ten years ago.
He hunched over, coughing, his long hair hiding his face. He looked like a sick cat, yet when Ji Sihan was cornered by a gang of thugs, he kicked their leader to the ground.
“I saved you a beating. Aren’t you going to say thanks?”
Ye Chen’s voice was hoarse and cold. Ji Sihan froze.
He didn’t know that this “sick cat” was the young heir who disappeared after the Feng family was wiped out, the shadow who had worn a silver mask and blocked seventeen assassination attempts against him, or the person who had sat outside his door while he was burning with fever, counting his breaths over and over.
He didn’t even know that the crescent-shaped scar on his wrist, always hidden beneath a wrist guard, was one he had bitten into Ye Chen himself.
Was Ye Chen’s refusal to acknowledge him for ten years meant to keep him safe, or to... take revenge with his own hands?
I just finished watching it (although it has been completed, but it is really good to watch), Ye Chen (Feng Yiyang) and Ji Sihan met when they were young, and drifted apart for ten years (they experienced separation and reunion in the middle), but in the end they became each other's happy home (both are very powerful and can be called two strong male protagonists, especially Feng Yiyang). It's really great. It has a completely different style from "Born to Hate". Both novels are well written.
The beginning is quite attractive, I look forward to the follow-up development ~
