Yang Shi, a graduate student in the Department of History, traveled back in time to the late Northern Song Dynasty, thinking he could change the shame of Jingkang. He wrote letters, sent messages, gave advice, and did everything he could - the Jin army still came, the city was still besieged, and no tragedy that should have happened was missing.
He finally understood: he could not change history. All he can do is to write down the names of those people who have been forgotten in history books in this era of chaos.
More than nine hundred years later, his diary was dug out of the ground by an archaeological team. The last page says——
"I'm old. I've accomplished nothing in my life. But you will never be forgotten again."
