A parallel world of Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan.
After waking up one day, Lin Chuan finds himself a half-yokai hybrid in the world of Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan. He had only wanted to live as an ordinary high school student, but the Nura Clan soon sets its sights on him. He also discovers that he has inherited the ancient great yokai Time Eater's ability to control time.
Forced into the conflict of the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons, he faces the deadly battle against Hagoromo Gitsune in Kyoto, the crisis at the Gate of the Underworld, and the icy trials of Hokkaido. Along the way, he gradually builds a faction of his own: the amnesiac Snow Woman Tsurara, who still stands firm; the shrine maiden Kana, who sacrificed herself and fell into a deep slumber; Shimoha, who follows him in search of atonement; Yuzu, whose eyes can purify; and Akifusa Hakyoin, both rival and friend.
To put an end to the conspiracy to resurrect Nue once and for all, Lin Chuan must gather all seven Seeds of the Time Eater. But with every seed he obtains, he moves one step further from his humanity. A prophecy reveals that once all seven are gathered, he will face a cruel choice: become an eternal god of time and lose all emotion, or surrender his power and let the people who matter to him sleep forever.
Unwilling to submit to fate, Lin Chuan resolves to break the cycle. With the power of time as his blade and the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons as his shield, he will challenge the thousand-year-old rules imposed by gods, onmyoji, and yokai, and forge a new era in which humans and yokai can coexist.
