On his tenth birthday, the orphan Kazami Haruka made a decision: to find a Pokémon by himself, become a trainer by himself, and create a family by himself.
No one thought he could succeed.
He had nothing—no background, no resources, no one to pave the way for him. His only "capital" was the selected Bobo, who was expelled from the tribe and could not even fly steadily after observing it in the back of the orphanage for a month.
Everyone thought he made the wrong choice.
But when the Bobo took a trembling step forward under the moonlight and pecked the bread he placed on the ground, Haruka knew - it was right, and so was he.
The subsequent story is simple: they lost countless times and won what they deserved. From Nibi City to Golden City, from Kanto to the world stage, from having nothing to having everything. They met many people and said goodbye to many more. Some people laughed at them for not overestimating their abilities, while others were moved by their bond.
And the Bobo that once didn't dare to fly finally flew across the sky where all the people who laughed at it flew.
This is not a comeback story. This is a story about "belonging" - when you can't find your place in this world, then create one with your own hands.
Even if the starting point is just an injured Bobo and a boy with nothing.
