Don’t Delay My Restoration: Future Husbands, Line Up

The Zhao Kingdom has fallen, and Zhao Xi escapes to a deserted island with three hundred of her former soldiers. There is no fresh water, no food, and no weapons. She is busy smelting iron, building ships, and laying the groundwork for a new settlement, focused solely on restoring her kingdom.

Then a sobbing college student washes ashore. He can draw blueprints, but is afraid of the dark and ghosts. Next comes a pirate king, covered in wounds, who says he is leaving but refuses to budge. Later, a man who claims to be a merchant deliberately runs his ship aground, then cheerfully offers supplies and intelligence. Oh, and she also has a seven-year-old beggar she once took in by her side. Now he is a taciturn captain of the guard.

Four men, each more troublesome than the last. The pirate and the merchant fight in court, her guard corners a rival outside her door, and the college student asks her with tear-filled eyes if she is going to abandon him.

Zhao Xi is busy restoring her kingdom and has no time to comfort them. They say they want to be her royal consorts. She says, “No. You are all my subjects.” They ask if she could at least choose just one. She says, “No. I want all of you.”
