Village River Curse

There is a river in my hometown that winds from the village into the city. It has been a psychological shadow for me throughout my life. Twins disappeared while taking a bath, a cowherd boy was pushed into the water for no apparent reason, a peasant woman died while fishing for snails, an old man committed suicide by drowning in the river... The year before last, two college students from other places drowned. Everyone said that the water ghost was looking for a substitute.
