Du Ming, a young man with empty pockets, trapped by one hardship after another, finally reached the end of his rope. In utter despair, he went to Sea Breeze Bridge and leaped off, hoping to end his miserable life. He should have plunged into the river and died, but things did not go as planned. Instead, he was unexpectedly chosen by a mysterious world of rule-based horror and forcibly transported into an instance, where he had to begin a bizarre fight for survival.
When he entered his first instance, it was publicly labeled F-rank. The other survivors, Du Ming included, took the label at face value and assumed it was simply an easy beginner's instance, so they let down their guard and calmly prepared to face the challenges. But as the instance slowly progressed, the truth lurking beneath the surface began to emerge. Only then did they realize that the instance merely wore the facade of an F-rank challenge. It concealed deadly dangers within, and its true rank was the perilous S-rank. A sudden, lethal crisis immediately descended upon everyone caught inside.
