I call everyone my adoptive father. I'm the King of Lu Bu. By Amamiya Hosen.
(Multiple heroines, trait-based power system, adoptive-father backstabbing. Don't read if that's not your thing.)
Here's my self-introduction on the first day at the bullying village's ninja academy:
My name is Amamiya Hosen. I live next to Ichiraku Ramen, and I can get home before 8 p.m. every day.
I like to go to bed at 10 p.m. and make sure I get a full eight hours of sleep. Before bed, I drink a glass of warm milk, then do 20 minutes of gentle exercise to help my body relax until I fall completely asleep.
The next morning, I wake up like a baby, without a trace of fatigue or stress.
My health check results have always been perfectly normal.
(Bows politely as applause breaks out. Even though most of the people sitting below are bullies, they wouldn't dare be rude to my face, or they'd get bullied themselves.)
Utterly unremarkable. Completely ordinary.
Amamiya Hosen is just the sort of ordinary civilian ninja who'd graduate early during the Shinobi World War and get sent off to serve as cannon fodder.
But Amamiya Hosen has a secret no one knows: the stronger someone is, the more likely they are to be drawn to him. Amamiya Hosen will take the initiative and ask people to become his adoptive father or mother.
Then he can stab them in the back. (Just kidding.) As long as he betrays them, he can get a trait from the person he betrayed.
That's the way to go, duckies! My path to becoming strong is all about backstabbing. This is the lesson my predecessor Lu Bu taught me: bring your adoptive father along and go find another adoptive father. (Just thinking about it gets my blood pumping!)
I want it, I get it, give yourself a five-star to encourage yourself 💕💕💕💕
