[Global Survival] + [Highway Escape] + [Giant Vehicles] + [Ruthless] + [Black Humor]
Disaster struck, and billions of people around the world were instantly dropped onto an endless apocalyptic highway.
The rules were cruel and absolute: stop moving, and disaster would devour you.
Everyone had to bind themselves to the nearest object as a vehicle within ten minutes.
Some bound themselves to Ferraris and sped down the highway. Others bound themselves to shared bikes and pedaled in despair as frenzied monsters lunged at them. And some bound themselves to the slippers on their feet, becoming the disaster's first meal.
Ding Li was a contract worker for the Gemini Group. He had cancer and desperately needed money to stay alive.
Ten minutes before the apocalypse hit, he was hundreds of meters above the ground, replacing shattered glass at the top of the Gemini Towers.
“The wind's so strong, and it looks like a storm's coming. This job is dangerous. Can I get a little extra hazard pay?”
“Hazard pay? You're just a contract worker. You think you're entitled to that? Do the job if you want to. If not, get lost!”
Ten minutes later, thunder boomed and the Disaster Game began.
Ding Li looked at the two towering skyscrapers beneath him, their peaks reaching into the clouds. Then he looked at the words [Binding Successful] that had appeared in his field of vision and fell into deep thought.
Ding Li controlled the two 1,000-meter skyscrapers like a pair of enormous legs, taking heavy strides as they charged down the highway.
“Sorry, survivors up ahead, I can't stop!”
“Boom!”
An armored vehicle that had turned its cannon toward him in an attempt to rob him was crushed flat underfoot!
Ding Li sighed helplessly. These legs were a little hard to control!
Waste, waste, waste, waste
Ink marks, killing a person is so slow.
The beginning is not only classic, but also wordy
